The Nightmare Before Christmas

This was a very early costume, and sadly, I didn't get to wear it much. The dress is all pieced using fabrics as close to the film designs as I could find/make, all the stitching on it is actually hand-sewn on with yarn, and the whole thing was tea-dyed to give it a duller, darker, more authentic look... as opposed to the really brightly coloured NBC merch they sell these days.
The arms and legs are tights with the stitching painted on, while face is make-up. Unfortunately, I accidentally ruined the tights in the wash, and never got around to replacing them, so it never got worn again.
Current status: sold.
